Liberty Island Retail Pavillion

New York City

Approximately 6000 square feet with a cost of $4 million. The project incorporates a raised foundation to above the FEMA DFE, and was the only building on Liberty Island to survive Superstorm Sandy without damage.

The project is LEED Platinum certified having rain water recycling for toilet flushing, waterless urinals, a used vegetable oil generator and a standing column well for the retail HVAC system.
