Animal Propagation Facility

Coney Island, NY

An  8700 square foot fish holding and propagation building for the NY Aquarium. The building is resilient, being raised on a plinth and  incorporating many flood resistant features such as storm gates, emergency power, raised elevations for utilities and redundant pumping.

This building will house marine animals prior to being exhibited in the main New York Aquarium Building and for animal propagation.
