9 East 64th Street – the first standing column well geothermal installation in Manhattan. Two 1500 foot deep standing column wells were drilled to accommodate a 60 ton load for an institutional use. The building was later sold to private interests, and is today fully functional.

148, 150, 152 and 156 Reade Street – new single family townhouses each served by an 100 foot deep standing column well serving a geothermal chilled/hot water central plant. Extensive use of radiant floors and the centralization of compressorized equipment in the cellar was made to minimize the architectural impact of mechanical systems.
